Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Short version: we only collect what we need to run the community, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account and everything you've posted whenever you want.

1. Who we are

SalesforceJedi.Online is an independent community for people who work with Salesforce, run by Mattias Nordin (SweSys). We are responsible for the personal data you share here.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and profile picture or avatar.
  • Things you add: your profile, work history, posts, comments, articles, chat messages and event interest.
  • Sign-in history: when you signed in and your approximate country and city — never your exact location.
  • Public business information about companies, offices and job ads.

3. Why we use it

  • To run your account and show your profile to other members.
  • To make chat, the feed, jobs, events and trophies work.
  • To match you with relevant jobs or consultants when you ask our assistants.
  • To keep the site safe and spot misuse.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.

We use a few trusted services to run the site: hosting and database, Google (sign-in and maps), and an AI service that powers our assistants. They only get what's needed for their job.

5. Private stuff stays private

Your personal notes are only visible to you. You can hide yourself from public lists, and companies only see your contact details if you ask them to contact you.

6. Cookies and browser storage

We only store what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your choices, like your country edition or phone layout. No tracking cookies.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account. Sign-in history is deleted after 13 months. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, comments, images and articles are removed.

8. Your rights

You can see, change, download or delete your data at any time from My Data. You can also ask us questions or complain to your local data protection authority (in Sweden: IMY).

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell members about big changes.
